Brussels Jazz Alert promotes upcoming talent from the Brussels jazz scene. Every concert is free, but your support is welcome. It is possible to make a small (or large) donation and allow these exciting bands to continue on their musical path. The entire amount goes to the artists.

Abstract INC. is a sextet that plays the compositions of guitarist Machiel Heremans. Despite the rather traditional jazz line-up, the sextet creates an original sound. They do this by focusing on new possibilities, like letting the two saxophonists play together and giving them the role of accompanist, or making them use of counterpoint. This combined with rich colours, guitar effects and expressive dynamics produces narrative music with a rough edge. In 2020, their debut EP was released on the ZenneZ Records label.
